All Books Are Discounted!
Pre-read titles are discounted at least 50% off the original retail price. We frequently run "specials" where you can save even more on these books!
For new books, we offer at least 20% off titles obtained from publishers and wholesalers. Additional discounts are available to educators [see below].
Store Credit For Used Books
Receive a store credit of at least 15% of the cover price when you bring in pre-read paperback books in good condition. [We accept hardcovers at a flat rate of $1.99 per copy.]
Store credit may be used as 50% of your purchase of pre-read titles; the other 50% can be paid with cash, check, or credit/debit card.
Store credit may not be applied towards new books or non-book items.
When you purchase one of our new books and bring that book back within 2 months, you will receive 1/2 of the book's retail price in store credit. We do not pay cash for books.
New Books and Special Orders
We are happy to take special orders for new copies of books that are not currently in stock, and offer a discount of at least 20% on titles obtained from publishers and wholesalers.
We also keep "want lists" for pre-read titles that may just happen to be out of stock on your initial visit, and we will happily do out-of-print searches for you.
